Q. What is a restorative counselor?

A. An inutituve counselor, well versed in the holistic arts, who can guide and support your growth or healing process .

Any time you are not in optimum health, whether that is physically, spiritually, or emotionally, your choices can be confusing. It's hard to know where to turn. When you and I work together I use my training and the gift of holistic knowing (clairsentience) to reveal the hidden causes of your distress. Then I recommend Flower Essences to help balance emotions, and I will also often suggest holistic treatments to pursue based on your unique energy. It is important to stress I am not trained in psychology, social work or as a medical doctor. My background is in herbalism and my training is as a Flower Essence Practitioner. I am best understood as an educator and spiritual counselor.

Q. Are Flower Essences safe for everyone?

A. Yes!

Flower Essences are 100% vibrational formulas. There is no remaining physical plant residue in the remedies. Flower Essences have no fragrance (except from the preservative base if one is used) and no chemical activity. There are no side effects and there is no harm if you take Flower Essences you don't need. If they aren't required by the energy body, they are simply not used. Flower essences are completely safe for children, pets, those that are very ill, and even pregnant women because pure spring water is the carrying medium. There is a trace amount of the preservative base in custom remedies. For situations in which it might be a concern, such as for people who are sensitive to alcohol, children women or who are pregnant, a nonalcoholic base or no base is recommended.

Q. What do you mean by "Vibrational"?

A. Flower essences work by interacting and influencing our energy patterns, correcting imbalances.

Each flower has a unique vibration or energetic imprint that can be captured photovoltaically when their blossoms are floated in water and exposed to sunlight. Mystics have always claimed, and now scientific evidence is bearing out, that everything in the universe is a form of energy and in constant states of differing vibration.

Additionally, every living thing has measurable frequencies and unique energy fields. By using Flower Essences we expose ourselves to a unique energetic pattern than can help fine-tune our own emotional and spiritual imbalances.

Q. What can Flower Essences do for me?

A. Because Flower Essences influence the underlying energy pattern, while they do not directly affect physically manifested symptoms such as a traditional or herbal medicine might, they do initiate the process of, and support healing, by affecting the subtle energy body.

For example, Flower Essences won't directly work to heal an ulcer, but they will help relieve feelings of fear, depression, anxiety, and the stress patterns that are underlying the manifestation. Flower essences won't cure cancer, but they are very effective as a supporting treatment to help with shock, emotional repression, fear, and the depression which a patient struggles with while undergoing treatment. By helping the patient stablize and revitalize he or she becomes their own direct source of healing energy. You'll find direct results are experienced more obviously with emotional issues, while they work more in a supporting role for treatments for physical ailments. Depression, anxiety, phobias, stress, resentment, fatigue, mood swings, self esteem issues and insommnia are excellent examples of issues that flower essences can directly assist with and before they turn into physical problems.

Q. How are Flower Essences taken?

A. The traditional method is drops from the dosage bottle taken directly under, or on, the tongue, or added to a beverage and sipped.

However they can also be applied topically ,or misted into the air, or added to baths. Being vibrational they do not need to be ingested to be effective. You can rub them on pets ears and paws, or your pulse points, for example. When you order a custom flower essence formula I will send directions for dosage amounts and ideas for use.

Q. How long does it take for Flower Essences to work?

A. This all depends on the ailment being addressed and also upon the individual person.

I've seen immediate results working with Gentain, for example, overcoming depression due to a recent seback. Also some combinations I've put together specifically together for PMS mood symptoms have been extremely powerful –acting almost immediately.

However, if a chronic or addictive ailment is being addressed, the energy pattern can be deeply ingrained and could take longer to show a results - 4 to 8 weeks of consistent application, and maybe longer. Additionally, the core imbalance may be hidden under others, so as one set of symptoms fades, new ones may surface.

The important thing is to recognize the growth of the spirit and to be patient. True healing of any kind (as opposed to symptom suppression) is not usually instantaneous. That said, of course, when you can take a few drops in a cup of tea and find yourself revived and rejuvenated it does feel a little like the magic elixir in the fairy tale!

I was first introduced to the incredible effectiveness of Flower Essences by Freyja's dog trainer, Gina Biernet. Flower Essences are gaining tremendous popularity with veterinarians and animal trainers. They are highly effective treating behavioral problems and emotional distresses like storm anxiety. Because I am not an expert on animal behaviors, though, let me refer you to Gina at Clearwater Dog Training in Denver. She carries specialized lines of Flower Essence remedies just for our furry friends and can provide the best consultation. On top of that she's a great lady, talented and very empathetic.

Q.Why should I order custom Flower Essence formulas?

A. The best reason is it saves you money.

Dr. Edward Bach, whose original 38 flowers make up my standards, believed that health was a gift of nature. Short of preparing your own essences, which is not always practical, the custom formulas I prepare can include up to seven essences at a much more reasonable cost then purchasing each essences separately. To purchase each flower essence separately could easily cost you three times as much. Also, I prepare my essence formuals with water from a protected source reputed to have healing properties - not everyone has access to pure springs and it is my real joy to be able to provide this.

Q. Why do you only offer consultation by online chat?

A. To provide empathic counseling, I have found this way is the most accurate consutting method for my personal abilities.

To help, I need to be able to mirror your emotional and physical state. This is sort of like "tuning in" - I feel what you are feeling. I've discovered that online chat allows the connection I need, but in a way that is not overwhelming or clouds my objectivity.
